What mac version? As far as I know this application is PC only.

The developer uses Microsoft's .net development tools so I'd be surprised if a Microsoft tool would create a program to run on a Mac.

Mac and iOS version: I submitted the Mac and iOS (iPhone and iPad) versions for review last Sunday. The Mac version may be available later today or tomorrow, with the iOS version in the next week or so. The Mac version will be $19.99 and the iOS version will be $2.99 (streaming audio only, no recording in iOS). If you would like copies of these, I am giving anyone that is a current RadioLog customer before it hits the AppStore a free activation code. Just send an email to support@responderapps.com from the email you originally purchased the Windows license with and I'll send you a code for both Mac and iPhone/iPad versions as they become available.

Yes it has a option for audio-in and supports voice activated recording. By the way, a scanner is also a radio.

How hard would it be to make this something you can log-in to, this way if you have multiple feeds saved you can log-in on your phone, or at work and listen to your feeds. Plus if it was something you could log-in to it seems like it wouldn't be that hard to create a app for phones. I'm sure it's much harder then i make it sound, just thought i'd throw it out there and see what you guys think.

Looks like this thread has about died, and the software developer has vanished.

I just purchased RadioLog two weeks ago and I love it!! Looks like the discussion here had some great ideas, and I also have a few. Hopefully Joe will come back and give us a update on plans fr the software.

I am apprehensive about buying the software because the OP disappeared and from the looks of it the program had regular updates which appeared to have stopped cold turkey a year ago. Good to see that the purchasing system still works but wish i the program was still being updated.

I was about to take the plunge on this software after using the demo version when it first came out. I am in the process of revamping the shack and found a pretty good use for it, but a check of this thread has made me a little hesitant.

Has anyone tried obtaining support through the website? I know that there was a lot of activity on this forum, but it is not the official place for support. Is it possible that the developer considers the current version of the software as complete and no further updates are necessary?

To those with apprehension - I am not sure if the original developer is fulfilling orders or not, but when I have emailed him in the past Ive gotten responses. I love the program and couldn't live without it for what I use it for. My hope would be if the developer does stop working on it fine, just make sure we can continue to use and install on updated or changed out computers.

So the developer is not responding to emails - been waiting for a week and sent 2 emails and nothing. Heres my recent problem. Saw this talked about once before and someone said they fixed it, I PM that person with no response here too.

But the channels are off centered, and can't fix. I uninstalled so I can restart the set up and fix it, but that does not work. Any suggestions? Screen shot of the issue attached

Someone said that you have to clear the config file., where is that at?

I had that issue and I ended up updating the video card drivers and bios. I'm not sure which one fixed it, but that did it.

FYI I was using a recently reformatted Windows 7 USFF PC that had a clean install of Windows 7 from the recovery disks.

Ya this business is no longer responding to support emails apparently. Ive been a long time user and supporter and emailed them on my issue now three times over the past few weeks with no response. So yesterday I even tracked and traces the email and the person read it 30 minutes after I sent it and still no response almost 24 hours later.

So buyer beware. Its a great product and thing to use, but if it goes bad you wont get support

USB Interface question

I too am hoping the author responds to an inquiry I sent to his 'support' email address.

I recently purchased a TASCAM 16x08 USB interface so I could get up to 16 audio inputs, feeding multiple scanner's audio to 'RadioLog'.

The problem I have run into is that the driver that TASCAM recommends is call an 'ASIO' driver and they say that the audio applications need to be able to select an ASIO driver.

This TASCAM interface is a device normally used in a music recording studio and is expected to be used with a DAW (digital audio workstation) software application. I've tested a couple of DAW apps and as long as I select the ASIO driver option in the DAW app, I can see all 16 of the audio inputs for the DAW app. If I select any of the other drivers, I can only see first two Mic line inputs and that's all that is showing up in 'RadioLog'.

I've only used the audio recording functions in 'RadioLog' so far, but really do like the graphical presentation/user interface in this app.

whats a good alternative to this program, I'm a happy user currently but anticipate that it may stop working in the future.
