Can you take your logging history and run it against the RR database to see what talkgroups you logged?
I believe you can have it log the alpha tags so it'll show what they are in the log.

I just built up a new computer, and deactivated my old ProScan license on the old computer.. But now I'm having trouble finding the e-mail with the key.
Could someone tell me what e-mail address it comes from?
I did a search on my Inbox for ProScan and "proscan.org", no-go.
TIA

Check your Spam folder.
That's probably what happened - I found the key in my spam folder, and never moved it out.. And Gmail has since purged old spam.
I will wait to hear from you until COB Monday!
Thanks everyone - enjoy your weekends.
I want to purchase proscan as i used the trial and loved it. but, the only feed i listen is OHio Lake County on the MARCS system. is that feed still on proscan? if not, i dont have any use for it. would like to know this before i purchase. thanks
When using Proscan with my BCSD-536HP scanner all the P25 Digital traffic is muffled. I have tried everything. Any idea's?

Also adjust the audio on the sound device settingsIs this happening with the scanner speaker or computer speakers? Have you tried non P25 systems? If happening only on computer speakers then I would turn down the volume on the scanner as you may be overdriving the sound card.
The find duplicate utility isn't working right. If you click "find next same item" when there are multiples of a frequency and you get to the last of the duplicates, clicking "find previous same item" won't go back to previous item--it just does nothing. You have to exit the duplicate finder and start over.
Also, forcing conventional and trunked freqs into separate categories is a PITA. I have a list of freqs found during a band search that are a mix of conventional and trunked. It would be nice to trim out everything from that list that is already known, but I can't do that because of the limitation.
It would also be useful if the duplicate finder ignored duplicates more than X number of miles apart.
Hi Bob, I have the same problem with my BCD996P2. I can remove 1 duplicate using the "find next same" and the program will crash, you loose all your work and need to start over. I found if you get frequencies in order as to have 453.1000 x 4 lined up you can manually remove them by just using the "find next" and continue. It seems to crash more if it jumps between a few different systems.
Thanks for all your hark work!!
Is there anyway to enhance the 996p2 UBS programming cable settings to work with proscan better? No matter what computer I'm using it always takes me about 30 mins and a few restarts of proscan or the computer to get proscan communicating with the 996p2. Every time I open proscan it always says the comport is already in use or I go refresh the comports and half the time it's in the drop down list and it doesn't work or I go auto detect and the port says it's being used by another program or this program and still won't work. But when I go into the device status all the time the Uniden cable is always recognized. I didn't know if there was a fixed it just annoying
Nothing can be done about that in the software using a BCD996P2. It's more of a driver issue. The rear port is recommended on the BCD996P2. If using the front port then a power cycle of the BCD996P2 is needed to reestablish the communications.
