I posted in post #3627 that it was fixed and an update is available.

I put up a screenshot of what the screen looks like after I select the 9996xt file I want to import. The visible systems are indeed conventional systems, but the groups are showing TGID's.

ProScan 14.0 doesn't detect my SDS100. I can read and write to the scanner from Uniden Sentinel, but ProScan doesn't show any COM ports available (Windows 10).

Do you have the Uniden Serial Driver loaded?

You might also try turning off your SDS100 then turn it back on to allow it to reconnect to windows.

Then start Proscan.

It worked for me on my very first time using Proscan after it had been updated for the
SDS100.

No, I didn't. That was the issue, apparently. Using Sentinel, I don't have to put the scanner in Serial Port mode, and I guess it never occurred to me.

It would seem that Serial Port mode is used for recording and logging. But USB mass storage mode is needed for reading & writing to the scanner. Is this correct? I don't remember having to use Serial Port mode for other model scanners.

Yes, and that's how it works with the BCD436HP and BCD536HP too. The other scanners supported by ProScan are not SD card based, so no need for "mass storage mode"; their only mode is "serial mode" which is why you never had to pick that before.

SDS100 - Record icon disappearing

When locked on a System containing only conventional analog frequencies if I turn on the “Record” function every time a channel becomes active the “REC” icon disappears from the display in Proscan only.

On the SDS100 the “REC” icon behaves normally with the background changing color at each active transmission but always present.

Recordings are being made on the SDS100.

was wondering how I can get proscan from my desk top to my laptop? I've only used proscan on my desk top, bought new laptop and want to transfer it over or can I just download it from the sight? Cant find original network key.

Download and install on the laptop. I send out lost keys on Mondays by email only.

{edit} Or you can copy the folder on the desktop if you want to retain the config and logging data.

Won't download 14.1...Every time I download 14.1 it downloads 14.0

Does the URL that you are using from Bob's site read 14.1?

I did not have any trouble getting it and it fixes the problem I mentioned too that was in 14.0.

He's likely not using a URL, but instead letting the software download it automatically. I'm having the same issue; the automatic update check is downloading 14_0 repeatedly.

Downloading it manually from the website would solve the problem.

Version 14.1 error

Downloaded via auto update and direct from website, after installation I receive an error message and the program will not open. Had to uninstall and go back to version 12.13.
