Everything is working great with 4.4.0.
I think a "Up button" & "Down button" would help on the virtual control area on the software.
It could fit in the upper or lower corner area next to "Scan/Search" & "Hold/Resume" area.
Using the 'Round knob" doesn't work well for me. Trying to scroll to a freq quickly.
Like how FreeScan has it on their screen layout.
What does everyone think about it ?
I downloaded ProScan Version 4.4.1. I'm finding it difficult to find exact capabilities of this software.
One thing I'm very interested in is the control channel decode capabilites. However, I'm having some difficulties with "CC Data" on a P25 standard trunk system. When I scan only that system and click the CC Data tab and press start, ProScan displays no response. Yes, I have checked the C-CH output settings in my BCD396XT. I know everything is working because I can decode the same system with Pro96Com.
I'm also having the types of issues with some mot type II p25 that I can decode with Trunk88.
I guess my main questions are, is Proscan supposed to be able to decode control channel info from these types of systems? If so, why isn't it working?
I'm parked on the control channel. Nothing on the grid, nothing in test, ProScan's monitor says "NO RESPONSE." I am using 115.2KB/s via a keyspan USB Serial Adapter (model USA-19HS). If I click out of CC Data, ProScan monitor starts following traffic again. Out of five of my trunked systems, proscan only provides cc info on one of them. All of them provide cc info on either Pro96com or trunk88 depending on the type. That is why I asked the earlier question. Is ProScan supposed to be able to decode cc info for all systems that Pro96com and Trunk88 can, all in one application? That would be wonderful and worth $50 bucksAre you asking about the features in ProScan or something else. Be more specific.
Setting the C-CH output settings in the scanner is the same as clicking the start button in ProScan. Do you see data in the grid? I'm not sure why this is. In the test tab, do you see any data returned from the scanner? As you know, the CC data starts with MOT.
What baud rate are you using? 115.2 KB/S is the best.

Thanks for the help on the other question the other day.
Another question.
I notice the 396XT on the ProScan It displays the NAC & UID doing the single-frequency P25 trunks(conventional) scanning.
But in the logging screen. It doesn't log the NAC in the 'Tone' Column. Just the UID only.
The 'Tone' column is left blank on every row.
If it's not setup for it. Maybe it can be added in a updated version![]()
I see the problem. I have to make a modification for P25 systems. The next release this Wednesday will have it working.

Can you think of any reason why 4.41 would suddenly not work with Fstream?
Action scanner and the web still work, but Fstream just sits at "buffering"
4.3.0 was fine.
Thanks,
Steve
Download www.proscan.org/proScan.zip That should fix it.
I will be releasing 4.4.2 Wednesday after it's been tested.
Thanks. Tried it, no luck, same issue.
