ProScan works quite well with the two SDS scanners and Bob provides excellent customer service albeit if you search this forum most questions will have a solution. Free trial allows you to try before you buy.

I loaded the software paid the $50.00 and am brave enough to try to import a database and the instructions call for and immeadiately this pops up and my, "Menu-Database button is not lit. Greyed out. This is the error
"File Name Not Valid"
C:\user\jrezo\Documents
file name must be "f_list.cfg

other than monitoring my sds100 on the software I have not been able to load database

If you're going to use the Sentinel Favorites as a source then go to the Favorites Editor then click on the Open menu then navigate to the folder containing the Sentinel Favorites then click the OK button. Location is usually at ..\Documents\Uniden\BCDx36HP\FavoriteLists

If you're not going to use the Sentinel Favorites as a source but rather a new Favorites then go to the Favorites Editor then click on the New menu then navigate to a folder where you want it then click the "Make New Folder" and hit the OK button.

I am spending some time with my Uniden SDS100 connected to ProScan logging digital activity in the 450-455 and 460-465 areas. The problem with Capacity Plus and other pseudo trunking modes is the beacon. There is a signal there, so the SDS100 stops and monitors it. Now my choices are pretty much lock it out and move along or resume scan/search after whichever time is selected in the drop down of ProScan.

I already have selected to delete less than 2 second entries from the log. Is there any way to only log activity if there is an active Talk Group ID (TGID) in use? If so, that would be very handy for helping map out some of these systems. The radio could scan/search in the conventional mode, but then scan/search right past it without logging it, IF there was no voice traffic and active TGID in use.

I assume that there is now way to do that currently or am I missing something?

What may work is to sort the History Grid by the Digital Type column then sort the Talk Group ID column (secondary sort).
Drag the Digital Type column by the Talk Group ID and Frequency columns so it's easier to see. Turn off the Active Row In View option so the grid won't change to another area of rows while you're looking at it. Also turn on the New Entries Auto Sort option.

Finally got around to updating Proscan to the latest version today.
I am more than pleased that I no longer have to program a conventional P-25 channel as a single channel trunk system on my SDS scanners in order to log UID's/RID's.
Thanks Bob for this update

Thanks, Bob, that new frequency input 'last 10' list is very handy!

(Bug with Display Only (Borderless) mode reported via email, in case anyone else runs across it.)
