I've updated to version 19.2 using Windows 7 and a 996P2, after the update my audio recorder has stopped working. I've looked at all my settings and nothing has changed. All other logging functions work as they should. Any suggestions appreciated
Is the problem on the audio or logging side? Go to the Audio Control - Recorder tab and see if you have audio coming in from the sound device.

Are you using the REC jack and if so are the Systems Record parameter set to Marked Channels or All Channels?

Loss of audio only, using the REC jack, System Record is set to Marked Channels. Wanted channels are marked to record.

Checked audio control and audio levels are good

Rolled back to 19.1, everything is functioning as it should

The next version will have one of the most requested items. See the image. The systems and channels in the database need the Number Tag set and uploaded before logging. Supported on all scanners that supports the Number Tag. Double clicking anywhere on the row will tune to that number tag.

  • Fixed - Recorder - "Lookup Record Flag From Database" broke in ver. 19.2.
  • Fixed - BCT15X - BearTracker settings weren't being sent to the scanner.
  • Added - History Logging "Number Tag Tune" column. Column located on the far right side. Double click anywhere on the row to tune.

Version 19.3 is working perfect. And the new "Number Tag Tune" feature is very cool.

How do I update the WIFI dongle on the 536 ? Do they every "go bad " and need replaced ?

I've been using proscan for a very long time. As a lifelong scanner enthusiast, I am so grateful for such an amazing program.

I have updated to Ver. 19.3. I cannot get my BCD436HP to connect to the Serial Port. It connects to the Mass Storage OK. I use WIN7 64 bit. It shows that I have the Uniden Serial Port at COM16 in the Device Manager. I checked the .cfg file in the Proscan folder and it shows COM16 OK. How can I get it connected? It worked OK before the update. Thanks, Bob.

Do you get the screen that asks you to choose mass storage or serial mode when you connect the USB cable? if so, what happens when you select the serial mode?
