ProScan Version 19.9 Just Released!
  • Fixed - Using multiple monitors with the Display Only (Resizable) mode. The display wasn't dragging to the other monitors and the Full Screen mode wasn't working right.
  • Fixed - History, UID, & Recorder logging grids - Site name was missing from the System/Site column. Broke in ver. 19.8.
  • Changed - Removed the Fit to Height menu items in the Display Only (Resizable) mode. They were not needed.
ProScan is the most powerful and feature rich scanner software in the world !!!
Made in the USA

Reboot the computer and see what happens. No changes in that area. If it still happens then revert to the version that worked before to verify it still happens. It looks to me like a computer setting.

That worked, thank you, but I'm hoping that (1) this doesn't happen often & (2) I don't need to reboot when/if it does.

Is it possible to put in a script trigger or something so those of us running systems with API's we can trigger uploads and such based on a flag or just everything and let our software sort it out.

What is everything that the script is suppose to do? What type of API's? Don't know what you mean by "flag"? Is that like a certain condition to perform a certain action.

{edit} Can you provide a little example of what the script is suppose to look like.

Yeah maybe a visual example, building something like this right into Proscan. GitHub - aaknitt/voxcall: A sound-activated recorder with support for uploading audio to Broadcastify Calls

I know you were making changes to Proscan to allow apps like Rdio-Scanner to be able to use Proscan recordings from a watch directory. But I was thinking a way send right from Proscan into Rdio using the upload API that Rdio already has.

Then you could pass system ID and talkgroup ID using variables even have a option of to upload or not upload like you have with the record flags for each talkgroup.

Just a thought.
I use trunk-recorder for my trunked stuff but Proscan for my analog with a bunch of upload scripts and directory watchers etc..

BTW the small issue with the app below is only 1 system/1 TG.

See my app that I made several months ago that is specifically designed for the Broadcastify Calls platform.

{edit} It can't be Integrated directly into ProScan because Lindsay is concerned that someone would be scanning too many channels, somewhat
negating the point of the Calls platform.

Yeah so two apps that can record the input and send it to one system or talkgroup. I was just trying do it based on channel/tg
The part that Lindsay didn't like I suppose.

Ah well.

Is there a way to turn off updates to Proscan, and just manually access the most recent update on a periodic basis, at my own convenience, so that it is convenient to do so on my own timetable?

My issue is that I'm often out of town when the almost weekly updates are received. When updates are received, I receive a message displayed on Proscan telling me to update my Proscan program in order to proceed. During this period when updates are received, my scanners are not usable via remote monitoring via Proscan until I download the updates, and go through the entire process to setup the scanners again after the update is downloaded. It can become frustrating when I'm of town, the updates come in, and my scanner feeds shut down until the updates are incorporated into Proscan. I'm hoping there is a way to delay the necessity for incorporating updates for times when it's mre convenient for me, so my scanner remote feeds don't shut down at times when I'm not available to incorporate the updates.
