Works with imported RRDB (RadioReference DataBase) systems on version 21 and above.

No, the scanner doesn't have that capability so therefore it's not in the scanner protocol.Bob, Is there an automated setting in Proscan, like the 'Threshhold' settings, for the Squelch? So it can be set by system and changes with each different system, hit?
I've observed that behavior too (996P2).I think the RRDB difference updater is putting a talkgroup into the wrong category for me. Screenshot
A new talkgroup was updated in CLMRN and the rrdb difference updater is saying a talkgroup goes into the federal category when it actually goes into the "New London County" category on radioreference - Screenshot
It is also wanting to remove the federal talkgroups currently in there.
Anyone else seeing stuff like this besides me?
(I just opened proscan so it's not "old data")
Rats, But understandable. No, the scanner doesn't have that capability so therefore it's not in the scanner protocol.
Is that suppose to be "hint" as in suggestion? I don't think I will be doing that one.
I think I figured out a temp fix, but it shouldn't be happening in the first place so that's why I mentioned it.I've observed that behavior too (996P2).
Also, many times RRDB Differences wants to delete a group (conventional) and then wants to add that same group back in. Of course when it does that I have to put the number tags back in. This has also occured with sites and talk groups.
It seems to be "sensitive" to editing system and group names.
Yes. I followed all the steps and when I use Port Checker website. So on the webserver tab in proscan. It has the local IPv4 address and the outside address. When I put the IPv4 with my port is shows closed. and when I use the outside address with port it shows open. I have followed all videos and even the manufacture steps to set up the port forwarding through my router? Im not sure what else to do.Are you doing port forwarding through your router?
What tool are you using.? Use canyouseeme.org to verify the router Port Forwarding is setup correctly. It doesn't ask for an inside or outside IP Address. It will show the outside address.when I use the outside address with port it shows open.
Yes, even with the tool you just sent. When I put in my Local IPv4 with port 5000. It shows closed. When I put in my outside address with port 5000. It shows open. But the scanner is suppose to be connected to the PC through the Local IPv4. I have only seen this outside address before on the ProScan App once I go live on the web server. If I am connected to the wifi at my home on my phone and put in the localhost URL (xxx.xxx.x.xxx:5000) it comes right up, enter my password, and works flawless. But, when I try to access that URL when the wifi is off and on cellular data. It does nothing until the web browser pops up and says no address found. What tool are you using.? Use canyouseeme.org to verify the router Port Forwarding is setup correctly. It doesn't ask for an outside IP Address.
Are you using the outside IP address when trying to connect on the outside of the network?
When using a phone, you want to ensure you're using the cell data and not the WiFi data when trying to access the Web Server from the outside of your network.
It doesn't ask for the local address.even with the tool you just sent. When I put in my Local IPv4 with port 5000. It shows closed.
That's good if it shows open so I would concentrate on the phone and the browser. Make sure you don't have a typo in the IP address and port #. BTW, It doesn't prompt for the outside address, it just shows it.When I put in my outside address with port 5000. It shows open.
That's a separate IP connection and has nothing to do with the Web Server connection. But the scanner is suppose to be connected to the PC through the Local IPv4. I
So when I run the tool you sent. It shows my IP as what is showing in the outside box on Proscan, but when you look on my PC settings and through the scanner LAN settings. The IP is the normal one it should be. So i dont know why the checker tool is defaulting to the outside IP.It doesn't ask for the local address.
That's good if it shows open so I would concentrate on the phone and the browser. Make sure you don't have a typo in the IP address and port #. BTW, It doesn't prompt for the outside address, it just shows it.
That's a separate IP connection and has nothing to do with the Web Server connection.
Pretty much moral of the story. I am not the greatest person with computers. So, after all this research and troubleshooting of things to do. I probably have people in China watching me ive changed and messed with so many things. I followed the video step by step. Everything works perfectly except for when i try to connect on my phone when im not on Wifi (the same network that proscan and the scanner is on.) If someone would be willing to assist me who's a guru, team viewer, whatever the case may be. Im more than happy to do anything! It doesn't ask for the local address.
