@CKnobb Proscan has showed that data at the top for years that was very helpful on my server that was running 16 copies of Proscan connected to 16 Uniden Scanners.
Question Buddro...My 200 sometimes shows a TG with no audio from the scanner. Odd thing is if you listen to RSOIP on the same scanner the audio is fine. It does work better since I formatted the SD Card, Do you think I need to try a new SD card? It started doing this with the Waterfall Firmware, so I assumed that was the problem. Only does it on the one scanner not the feed scanner.

23.2 is running fine for me, except now have this information showing up above the menu bar. It duplicates what's in the scan window. 23.2 and below did not show that.
No changes in that area in the longest time. Probably the Custom Caption box (in the options) was changed inadvertently.

Hi All:

Is it possible to send audio over the USB on a SDS100 to ProScan? I ask because the Microphone leaves allot to be disserted. If I unplug the microphone cable to the computers motherboard there is no audio coming into the computer from the radio. So that does not work. The Laptops microphone picks up audio from the other radios and adds it to the recording. Not good!

Thanks:

My goodness, I update firmware, programming and other stuff on the feed scanner. It doesn't take very long. RR probably doesn't even notice it offline for a few seconds.
Well, then I must be doing something wrong. My feed uses two BCD996P2 and when I invoke the upgrade it automatically shuts down the program, which automatically disconnects my feed from BCastify, until the upgraded instance opens back up and automatically reconnects. What am I missing and what's the trick?

You’re not missing anything. His point was there’s nothing wrong with the feed being down for a few minutes while you update the firmware, programming, or whatever.

Audio doesn't ride on the scanner USB connection. This will solve the problem USB External Stereo Sound Adapter

Oh. Oops  I guess it's just, I don't like inconveniencing 50-160+ people by disconnecting them for a few minutes.
Thanks...

HI BOB:

Thank you for the info on the Audio over USB. I would like to send the audio from the scanner to the computer not using the microphone. If this adaptor would do the trick, I would be one happy camper. Again, Thank You!!
So much to learn about using your software, I am lost in the wow factor. At 75 years old the gray matter is not as sharp as it once was.

Thanks for the latest 23.3

It probably does this without using ProScan. A control channel are decoded in the scanner to have info about a TG being active and that are then shown on its display and sends the scanner to that voice frequency. If that voice channel doesn't open squelch there will be no audio heard. The audio squelch in SDS scanners works a bit different than its carrier detect squelch. I get this muted state a lot where it doesn't times out on the TG delay timer when the audio squelch do not open.

Try changing from NFM to FM as that will help. Also try and see what voice frequency that are affected and enter that frequency manually to the display and enable IFX to it, or do that in Sentinels IFX table. If that doesn't help its time to try a different filter setting for that site.

Hi All:

Here I go again! My BCD536HP, Dell Laptop, ProScan 23.3 is not recording. Recording is set via the URL. It is set to that in ProScans Recorder setting. When I turn on "RECORD" the station that is to be recorded highlights and when the transmission stops it disappears and nothing is recorded.
I tried everything I could think of to make it record. I even reloaded the program, rebooted the computer.
Anyone that also is using URL settings on a BCD536HP please help.
I had it working for 2 days then it just stopped working.

Would it be possible to have the ProScan History Log display Timeslot 1 or 2 in a separate column?

The recorded row will disappear from the grid if the transmission elapsed time is less then the time set in this option.

To troubleshoot audio problems, go to this screen. See the notes at the bottom (2nd rectangle).
1st item - Restart the scanner.

Once you get the audio working then I would monitor the 'Packets Loss'. A high value, perhaps 10% or more may indicate a Wi-Fi weak signal or interference. {EDIT} A loss of Wi-Fi signal for more than a minute or so could cause the scanner to stop sending permanently until the scanner is power cycled.

Hi Bob:

Under record I get no signs of audio activity. The scanner on the computer shows activity.
I tried what you suggested to no avail.
It looks like it does not see the audio coming into the software from the URL.
Now in the record window the recorded stations show up. I changed the setting to off. Now they stay. When I click on them nothing happens. there is nothing recorded. All the other features work but record.
What am I doing wrong? What settings have I screwed up? It worked for 2 days then nada.

That needes to be troubleshot. I don't know what you tried? Did you restart the scanner?
Relocate the scanner Wi-Fi dongle and see if that helps.

{EDIT} Can you post a screenshot of the URL Setup screen?

Hi All, Bob:

It is still working today. The only thing is I get an error message at start up. It says "Published Server Ip Addr. Or Name Must Contain A Value". I have no idea what that means. It does not affect the operation of recording. There is no remote scanner over IP, web server nothing like that. Don't know what that error refers to. I appreciate any and all help. Bob you have been a great help. ProScan customer service is the best!!!!!!

Go to the Startup options and uncheck The RSOIP Server Auto Start option.
