Folks,
I'm starting my vacation in about an hour. I should be back by the 2nd week of January. I'm going to spend time with my wife's side of the family in Cuernavaca, Mexico. I'll try to answer my emails, especially lost keys and key issues when I can. I'll try to get here when I can. I may be off the grid a few days at a time as I'm not sure where we're going each day. I do know Cancun on the 28th.

Have a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

General question for anyone willing to give any input. I have been running an SDS200 with ProScan to listen on my phone remotely for about a year or so now. Everything has worked absolutely perfect. In the last couple of days. I will be listening to a broadcast and it does the lag like it just lost connection, similar to the power flickering or such. So I will try to refresh the page, getting the blank screen as in the stop button has been enabled. So, being on the road. I will call my wife. Sometimes 10-20x a day LOL. To go into the computer room to reset the scanner and app. The ProScan app on desktop will say "NOT RESPONDING." So she closes it. Restarts app and scanner and it will be fine. For who knows the amount of time. Sometimes she is asleep and can't reboot or myself when I get home from work and it starts working normal after 10 minutes or so. Was just curious what could all of sudden cause the NOT RESPONDING on ProScan and cause the freeze randomly? Thanks for any input..

Also, yes I have updated Windows and also uninstalled and re installed the software. Thanks

Next time it happens, go to the Win Mixer and see if the audio meter moves. That won't apply if using the ethernet audio on the BCD536HP and SDS200.

This issue happened again today. I checked and the audio meter is not moving when there's activity on the scanner. (not using ethernet audio)

Can you go to the Win Mixer and see if the audio meter shows audio there. Perhaps wiggle the audio cable or swap the cable if you have another to see if the intermittant goes away.
