ProScan Version 1.7 Build 2 includes the RadioReference Imports feature, improved Scanner Over IP, and bug fixes.

Supported scanners are the BCD996T, BC796D, BC785D, BC780XLT, BC296D, and the BC250D.

I'm thriving to make this the best Computer Aided Scanning program and suggestions are very much appreciated.

can someone help me i have proscan and i have my scanner connected to it and it's recording but it shows the file as it's playing but it's notlogging it . i created a folder to save the files in but that still did not work. i will just see the recording in yellow but when it's done it goes away.
Skip silence is enabled in your screenshot. Activity will not be logged if silence is detected. Do you hear activity when it is recording?

The yellow background indicates that silence has been detected.

Hi Bob @ProScan ,

When you get back from vacation (hope it was awesome)!
Still on VC. It is awesome. Partys just about everyday with birthdays, pasadas, baptism party, and today a wedding which we or at least me, just found out about it a few days ago. Sunday, we're going to Acapolco for five days.

Has anyone here successfully set up ProScan with the SDS-200, particularly the server side? I'm trying to set up a stream. I'm running into network issues. (DMZ/Port forwarding /using open IP as a relay on a Netgear mesh net.) The port won't respond. I've followed both the manual and did watch a few videos on
It sounds like you are using the RSOIP (Remote Scanner Over IP) feature. On the Port Fowarding issue, use Open Port Check Tool -- Verify Port Forwarding on Your Router to test it. A common mistake is using the scanner IP address. You need to use the computer (running the ProScan RSOIP server) IP address.

the setup. I have two issues, one appears to be with the client " I keep getting promptedView attachment 175188 and the other is my network setup.
It sounds like the far side is not setup as the client if you got that message. Set the far side as a client.

I have 6 BCD796D scanners I want to remote (See Pic Above) But due to limitations of the scanner everything works except volume control with ProScan.
I tried speakers with Vol control and the scanner didn't put enough out to go the 30' and drive the speaker. I found amplified speakers but 6 got pricey.
So below is the Pic of what I'm using. I have 6 scanners in with 1 speaker out and I can control each scanner individually

That's the Title bar. The color can't be changed via ProScan. Just through Window Themes and all programs will adapt to the theme used.
You can change the Program Icon option to a solid color to color code each instance. Option located in the Options -> General tab.

Good Afternoon all. I have a bit of an issue that I have not seen before. I am on a Win 11 laptop. When I open the Proscan application, I only see the Favorites Editor. Usually, I get the virtual scanner window and the logging window. I have the most recent update. Any ideas? Has anyone else had this issue? I have attached a picture of the items open on my laptop.

Send an email. I'm pretty sure I didn't get it.

I finally got fed up with poor audio quality using software / sdrs, and went back to hardware radios, in this case 2 SDS200s to stream voice traffic and record it to my internal network. I use 2 instances of Proscan to archive the audio to separate folders on a NAS device and to make the live stream available to any web browser on our network. Separately, Trunking Recorder ingests the audio and makes it available on a local machine; this is probably redundant but I like the interface. The issue is the I cannot differentiate between Receivers in TR since both radios are SDS200s and TR apparently uses the %ST tag to identify the Receiver type. I'm curious if anyone has figured out a way to identfy individual radios of the same type and include that data in the %ST tag?

You can add your own text like this
%ST #1
%ST #2
