I'm wondering if when i scan a set of frequencies with dsdplus fastlane. if i set it to scan only two different freqs will it miss less of the traffic compared to if i set it to scan say 6 different freqs or does the software go to the freqs that is currently active? is their a way to set it up to go to the currently active freqs if they are?. right now i run two instances of fastlane each set to scan only two freqs. But i am trying to figure out how that all works, How would you set it up? i'm using the scanlist to set up my freqs in, i have 6 freqs that i want to scan but i don't want it to pick up on a signal a few seconds after it has started. what ways would their be to do this and how does it normally work? Thanks for the feedback.

Not happening that way.
You can scan and hope it picks it up from the start, or you can open 6 different DSD instances and it will scan just the 1 frequency. It's like with a scanner, you scan more than 1 frequency there's a chance you miss stuff.

That's going to depend how busy those channels are.
I used to have constantly 3 or 4 open on a laptop with no issues. I can't judge now since I have a pretty good setup
