Having a an issue with Proscan recordings as viewed on the BCD536HP Proscan scanner display. After so many seconds a recording will "reset" itself and start recording again. I was recording a milair frequency and it had reached somewhere around 45 seconds. When I looked again the initial recording was gone and a new one was in its place showing a new start time and showing about 8 seconds of recording. On my C:\ drive in the Proscan\Recordings folder all the original transmissions are still there and playable. Did I change something inadvertently? Thanks

I was able to watch when it happened again. As soon as the recording hit 1 minute it disappeared. Then popped up again as a new recording. I have "Active row in view" set. "Activity" is set. In the Options tab I see that Delete < 2sec is checked. Max recording time is set to "none". Recordings auto delete is set at 30 days.

Does it only happen on one channel?
Did it just start happening?
Does it do it at the one minute mark each time?
Try setting the Max. Recording option to some value and back to None.

I haven't heard of this before and don't know what would cause this.

Monitoring a VHF P-25 channel with a 2 digit NAC. I can't get Proscan to log the NAC, no problem with 3 digit NAC's only the 2 digit, either in a NAC search or a programmed NAC.
Any thoughts? Anyone else?

2nd key purchased

HI Bob,

Keep up the good work!

Your dedication has influenced me to buy another scanner and move back to Uniden so I can use your software.

Thanks again!

Hi Bob, a feature request

I'm using 4 BCT15X's to scan Mil Air using a Custom Search broken up into four segments. During the search I can lockout local known frequencies while I search for new hits. I know I can pre-enter Lockout frequencies but it appears to be a manual entry process and there are +400 I would like to add:(

Could the "Get Clipboard" functionality be added to the lockout frequencies?

A couple questions: What type of scanner are you using? Can you use tone/NAC search, rather than trying to enter a two-digit NAC?

What system, if you don't mind me asking? NAC is supposed to be a 12-bit (3 hex digit) value, not two digits.

Using a 996XT, latest firmware, latest Proscan update.
It is programmed twice, once with the $70 NAC entered, once programmed as digital, NAC Search.
The frequency is 169.5750

That narrows the field somewhat, but I haven't found any reference anywhere for a $70 NAC for a Federal frequency. Was that NAC published, or discovered during a search? Have you tried NAC $070? $070 is a valid FBI NAC.

What's the NAC shown on the scanner display? Can you look at the scanner returned data to ProScan and see what it looks like.

The scanner displays NAC 70
Not sure where I can find the scanner returned data.
I don't see that in the Tests and extras tab

It should be in the Test & Extra tab. If the data moves too fast, you can always turn on the Scanner Data To Scanner Data.txt File option located in the General Options area. Send me the file.
