so why does this happen like that on the software where some systems are turned off but the system quicks and group keys are on in the scanner?

In Proscan you need to first "Read from scanner" the groups that are enabled on scanner so Proscan can recognize that they should be enabled in the app

what you mean read from Scanner? So in other words if its off in the proscan app then i wont be able to listen to it on the scanner? Which is kind of odd cuz i did hear some of those groups that are listed off in the software
If it is not off then all FL would be on does not matter if they were populated or not.
Could you see the winning about having to turn off 90 unused list.

Guys im a little confused on how to create a favorites list in proscan? Does the favorites list prioritize channels without PRI scan?

Favorites Lists applies only to the BCDx36HP and SDSx00 scanners. I believe you have a BCD325P2.

so just setting up a quick key makes it a favorite?
Sorry I own so many scanners I use the same terminology for all.

ok so anytime I want to upload new configurations made to the quick keys from the app then I would hit Upload to Scanner?
And if you make any changes to the scanner by hand read from the scanner make changes in the software then write to the scanner

I have a laptop that is failing and frequently crashes with a blue screen. I have a licensed copy of ProScan on the laptop and I want to move it to my new laptop. Assuming I can keep the old laptop running long enough, I will uninstall on the old laptop and then install ProScan on the new laptop. If possible, I would also like to manually copy the user files from the old laptop to my new laptop. Two questions:
1. Are the ProScan user files housed in the VirtualStore folder as discussed in Post #7201 above? Yah, I am trying to avoid remembering how to configure the software to talk to my Uniden SDS200 scanner.
2. If I can't uninstall the software properly on the old laptop to free up the license, is there a workaround? Fingers crossed that the old laptop stays alive long enough to uninstall ProScan and free up the license.

To free up the license from the old computer.....
When Proscan is running, from the top menu bar just click on "Tools", then "Remove Activation". Then just use your registration keys on the new computer.
VirtualStore folder only if ProScan is installed in the Program Files(x86) folder AND running a 64 bit OS AND not running ProScan in admin mode. An easy way to get to the correct folder is by going to the Test & Extra tab then click on the Win File Explorer button. Just copy all files to the new location. You may want to edit the config. ProScan.cfg file and the lines containing paths (or locations) then start ProScan.
Is that for when a channel goes active and the Alert Color is set in the channel?
