I have a suggestion; you should add the ability to transfer RIDs from scanner to scanner or download RIDs through the wikis from the database.

An autographed copy of ProScan would be cool..I was signing them. I decided to not to continue the practice.
Ohhh... The ProScan merch possibilities! An autographed copy of ProScan would be cool..
I have experimented with what you're trying and always fell short. Why not change the port forward, so that port 80 goes to the port of your ProScan web service?I have been trying to implement an SRV record on the domain name that I use to access my ProScan server. Hoping you all have some guidance as to why I cannot get it to work.
I can get to the web server using mydomain.comort, my goal is to be able to go to scanner.mydomain.com and have it go to the ProScan web server page without specifying the port.
I created a CNAME for scanner.mydomain.com. Then created the following SRV record:
_proscan._tcp.scanner.mydomain.com 0 0 port dynamicdnsprovider.com.
I have also tried:
_proscan._tcp.scanner.mydomain.com 0 0 port mydomain.com.
Does anybody have any thoughts? I have confirmed using nmap that it is a TCP port, but I wonder if there are only certain services that are allowed to be used int he service name part (_proscan)? Does anybody have any thoughts? I have gone down so many Google rabbit holes trying to come up with a solution.
Thanks!
Now that's impressive!
- Added - BCD160DN & BCD260DN scanners support. Scanners not out yet as of the date of this release.
Hi Bob, is there a way to sync a current FL with the RRDB? For instance, I have a P25 system here split into several FLs, and picking and choosing the TGIDs for each one via re-import is going to be a chore.Correct. Per the manual and release notes:
Works with imported RRDB (RadioReference DataBase) systems on version 21 and above.
On further review, you can disregard my request. The feature is a great idea, but it's not quite mature yet. I did the following and many "RRDB Differences" disappeared:Hi Bob, is there a way to sync a current FL with the RRDB? I can't find how to re-order FLs' via Proscan. The main FL, and inside a FL.
(hiding in a corner)
Just click on a FL node to highlight it then then drag it to the desired location with your mouse.
"inside a FL" If that means system. department, site, or channel nodes then you can reorder them just like the FL nodes
It works. Try it this way.View attachment 150608
I tried 'drag n drop'. While logical, that didn't work. What I am thinking of is, a tool in PROSCAN, where. A sort can be done via an 'up' arrow and 'down' arrow.
Programming in ProScan is done basically the same way as it's done in Sentinel and at the scanner front panel.I'm trying to document a new MotoTRBO system in our area and would like to learn how to program it into my SDS100, using ProScan.
I've searched this thread, the Easier to Read manual, and the Uniden Twiki page.
In this thread, SDS200: - LCN Finder on MotoTRBO Trunk message #3 describes how to do it in Sentinel, but I'm not sure if it is the same.
All I know so far, is that it is a CAP+ system, the two frequencies and their color codes.
The first question is, can it be done with this limited amount of information?
Can I start the process with my SDS100 or do I need to set up my RTL-SDR dongle and go that route? I haven't set it up and have no experience with DSDPlus.
Is it the same process as used in Sentinel?
If I don't know the LCNs and I program the system into ProScan, can I use the LCN finder? I didn't know if you need the LCNs in order to program the system into the SDS100 (I know, it sounds like a catch 22).
Any help would be appreciated.
