Uniden SDS200 scanner. Yes, using the Get Clipboard function. Importing columns from a standard Microsoft Excel .xlsx spreadsheet.

The problem is that if I select the column of NAC codes as "Tone" from the dropdown list, they import into the program as analog DCS codes. This is whether or not I select the "Mode" as "Auto" or "P25". Example" NAC code B11 imports as DCS11.

In the program, the "Audio Type" column, you cannot copy and paste, each selection must be made from the drop down list.

I'll look at it. I have several items to do before I can get to it.

Is there a way to copy and paste P25 NAC codes from a spreadsheet into ProScan? No problem with frequencies and channel names, but audio options convert NAC codes into analog DCS codes. Hoping I don't have to do them one at a time.
I copy and paste directly from the RRDB web page via the "Get Clipboard" feature. Tone, including NAC for P25 is one of the options available and pastes into my database just fine.

In your Excel spreadsheet, put 'P25' or 'NAC' before the code so they will import properly.

I use OpenOffice and I'm sure this can be done with Excel: Format a column as Text then put 'NAC ' in the format code box. Now the cells should show properly.

Yes, I tried this, and it works in Excel; by putting "NAC" in front of the NAC code. Thanks!

Tried updating ProScan to the latest version on my dedicated radio/scanner PC and got this. Going to assume it is a false positive.

I'm on Windows 11 with a Uniden 536XLT connected via wifi dongle to Proscan. For some reason, Proscan is using my PC microphone (in Recorder, the threshold level meter goes up and down with ambient noise). Why is this happening and how can I stop Proscan from using my PC microphone? Thanks in advance.

Go to the Audio Control tab then the Recorder tab, Ensure the input is set to URL. The only other thing I can think of is the speaker on the 536HP is acting as a microphone.

Thanks. In the Recorder tab, the "Input Sound Device" drop down is greyed out (stuck on "Primary Sound Capture Device").

Okay, that fixed the issue. Thanks! Now another question - while I am recording, why does a transmission appear in the Recorder tab table and then disappear once the transmission ends?

That will happen if the transmission time is shorter then the time set in this option.
