ProScan Version 1.7 Build 2 includes the RadioReference Imports feature, improved Scanner Over IP, and bug fixes.

Supported scanners are the BCD996T, BC796D, BC785D, BC780XLT, BC296D, and the BC250D.

I'm thriving to make this the best Computer Aided Scanning program and suggestions are very much appreciated.

Win10 sucks and bet that’s the issue.

Actually 10 is way more stable and reliable than 7 ever was. This is a generally accepted statement in IT circles everywhere.

Thank you. I'll add that on Win 11, a problem I have seen, not really a Win 11 problem but rather a certain USB Serial Port driver will show in the Device manager something to the effect "Not compatible with the OS". Also somewhere along the line of updating Win 10 or Win 11, the microphone privacy setting will turn off on all apps.

I've been running multiple instances of ProScan, including an RR Feed on Windows 10 since the mid-beta days, thru all the updates, and never had one issue. No crashes, lockups, etc.

Its working again. Did a windows update last week and for some reason it kicked the computer off line. Didn't realize it until this morning messing around with it. Never use it to go on the web.

What do you mean "import a feed from Broadcastify"? Broadcastify is a service where scanners are streamed to. Is that your goal, to stream your scanner up to Broadcastify?

Go into the Startup options and uncheck the items you don't want to start when ProScan starts.

{edit} I'm not sure what you mean by "web client" Can you provide a screenshot if the startup options doesn't fix it.

Bob, Strange situation here-

Recently, On the menu. The 'Database' link was moved to where it is now next to 'History Logging'. Is this because of the update, or something else?

Can you drag the Database column to where you want. It's probably because switching scanner types from a BCDx36HP or SDSx00 that doesn't have a Database tab (Favorites but that is accessed a different way).

The favorites editor is covered by the main screen, ProScan shows two screens open in the tool bar. I don't think it's possible to open just the favorites editor, but you can reduce the main screen.

What you’re seeing is the main ProScan window.
