ProScan Version 1.7 Build 2 includes the RadioReference Imports feature, improved Scanner Over IP, and bug fixes.

Supported scanners are the BCD996T, BC796D, BC785D, BC780XLT, BC296D, and the BC250D.

I'm thriving to make this the best Computer Aided Scanning program and suggestions are very much appreciated.

Greetings,

I have a question regarding recording. I want to record 3 individual conventional frequencies that are not very active. Is it possible to actively scan other frequencies or, do I have to be parked on those frequencies in order to record?

I'm using LAN connection and I have those frequencies I want to record "checked" in the database

Your scanner receives the signals and ProScan records them. If the scanner doesn’t receive, due to not being on frequency, then no recording is available.

You might be thinking of Sentinel that gets the weekly update from the Uniden server. Since you're a Premium Subscriber, you can import directly from the RRDB into ProScan and not wait for the Uniden (HPDB) weekly update.

Awesome, I just updated mine. Is there a list of what all of the changes were other than what was listed above?

Go to the Help Menu in ProScan, and near the bottom of the Table of Contents click on Version History. Bob keeps a log of the changes from version to version there. In there he only lists the updates for the 3 radio models listed above.

Downloaded and installed this latest update and still cannot update GPS in the Google maps. I do not get the update node option after an adjustment. Got this error when I clicked on Google Maps in the location tab. I installed Proscan on a second computer to see if it was just this one I am using and still had the same issue.

Try using the external browser option and see what happens.

OK thanks. I never use edge but that is whats loading. I will look at it. Thanks for the help.
You might want to check out Chris Titus and his Windows debloater. It will remove Microsoft Edge.

It's fixed. It will be in the next release. If it still doesn't work then submit a bug Report. Link is on the proscan.org web site.

Bob, thank you for your great contribution to the community. I know it's extra work and a one-time expense, but have you ever considered signing your exe?
