Any thoughts to the roughly 1,500 hz tone in the reception? The het "appears" be be Barnstable dispatch's transmitter beating against either another (continuous) transmission on the frequency, or a birdy within the scanner.

It is in the system, some sort of alarm, they can turn it on/off. I hear something similar in my locale when a dispatcher goes into emergency traffic only on channel. I'm not sure what frequency they are testing but I do receive it on 33.700 at 9 am. Dukes county and Nantucket have no FCC license for low band that can find.

33.780; Southwestern NH District Fire Mutual Aid in Keene NH will almost always say KCF415 and time stamp at the end of transmission. KCF415 would be my vote for the best sounding system. Provincetown fire in Provincetown, MA usually say Provincetown fire at the beginning of transmission, then at the end you here it cut off, something to do with the digital they use, then a slight pause after that. It is so noisy at times I lock it out. Provincetown would be my vote for the worst.

I was trying to get some video of CITO tv 3 from Timmins, Ontario, Canada. That didn't happen as 6pm station tests were about to begin.

33.900, 33.560 - Lancaster county PA. Database states LC will stop using the low band January 5th, 2021. 33.900 is the tone outs and addresses. LC is an easy one to ID nowadays as they use the word 'medic' and you can definitely hear the P25. Dispatchers with some chatter on 33.560. Darn CB was in there too.

46.460 - Suffolk County NY. The database says they will be moving off of Low Band shoon. They haven't moved yet. Dispatch for Halesite and some tests including Montauk? tower and Wading River.
