I've recently started using Notepad++ so will have a look at that plugin, thanks.I have only 256 GB on my SSD, so space is a factor for me as well. I have > in all my log files. Im not sure if they changed this command. But the contents in that log file are a month's worth of data. It's about 5 GB. I run Notepad ++ on all the DSD-related files. The log files get big, so I downloaded a Notepad++ Plugin called "BigFiles," which processes them so that you only see about 1000 lines at a time. Seems to work. On top of this, I have a backup process running that continuously backs up the log file to my NAS.
I need to get a bit more organised or at lest semi-consistent at backups. Especially with the amount of data that the alias decoding gives us. Whilst it's now easier to decode that data again vs the old aural method, we pick up a lot more now and you don't know when you'll get something obscure and don't want to lose that
