DSD+ has had a big impact on the scanning hobby for a while now. I believe it has also had a great positive impact on the RR database because of all the systems people can figure out and submit. By showing you the color code, talk group, slot, and/or LCN, I've been able to figure out tons of stuff and have made many database submissions that I prolly couldn't have made without it.

It has made mapping out CAP+ systems much more easier for sure. The days of process of elimination are practically gone for that.

what do you guys use to make a tcp address for your rtlsdr in windows?

Are you talking about the demodulated audio? You don't assign it an address. You assign it a port on the command line.

Read FMP.txt for more info.

I never received any DSDPlus 2.71 email.

What should I do?

(Yes I'm a member of fastlane)

Mine finally arrived at 2:21 am this morning. I can only guess the Fastlane team is still pushing out the emails.

Thanks for letting me know. I joined a few months ago, so I may be at the tail-end of the rollout

Mine has arrived.
sent at:
"Date: Wed, 27 Dec 2017 02:16:07 -0500"
according to headers in the email.

Rename the attached .zap file to a .7z and extract with the password from the email.

After the upgrade, the aliases that I assigned for my NXDN talkgroups are gone. But for DMR Connect Plus systems the aliases are still there.

Go into your group and radio files and add 48 or 96 to the end of NEXEDGE entries.

LRRP broken, no coordinates

Been using the program for a couple days now and am happy with it. However, I will not read GPS coordinates on a local DMR repeater. The previous version did and I´m just kinda lost now. When it reads that information, it will give totally crazy coordinates.

I went as far as starting all fresh and new, with the original files from the website and then the latest Fast Lane release but no joy. I still have the previous version, which reads coordinates from the LRRP messages.

Anyone else having the same issue?

Arroja

That message is actually complaining that it's NOT a valid 32 bit program.

Double check you extracted the files correctly with a 7-Zip extractor and the four character password mentioned in the emails.
