I just upgraded from .17 to .20 and the health meter works as expected for me (decoding a P25 P1 system).

The Strangest thing happened to me after I downloaded the 1.0.31.20. That being my Health Meter stayed at zero, when on version 1.0.31.18 my Health Meter works.

What do you guys think that is?

By the way, I love the new look on the 31.20! Keep up the Great Unitrunker!

For me it seems a bit "tighter". Really have to make sure your calibration is dead on. I do, for some odd reason, "lose" control channels and signal degrades for no apparent reason and them goes back to full. Gain settings have no effect.

At any rate, this really doesn't affect the useability of the program.

My only real bad issue is fire groups like to hijack police talkgroups. A fire group will be talking where a PD group is indicated. If the PD group actually becomes active, then the fire group is covered. Odd, since PD and fire trunk IDs are not even close ID wise. Still, just a minor issue I can live with.

I really like the black theme of the new version but I'll stick with the previous version. The previous one is the only one that works for me, in terms of health signal.

My Airspy doesn't start under Windows XP Professional (32 bit). Is the "fix" for Win7 relevant to other Windows versions?

Rick, even with the fix, my AirSpy still won't start on Win7...... :-(

I did not think it would. There were at least two issues here. The fix addressed one - where the program fails to open the device. The other issue is where the program opens the device, sets things up - and then closes the device. I won't have time until this weekend to troubleshoot the latter issue.

I'm curious to see what Dave finds on his XP machine. He may have the same issue as you or something new.

I'm running .20 and I've had to turn off deemphasis on my voice receiver to manage to hear anything. This wasn't the case on the previous version. Tips?

UGA what are your sample rate and squelch settings on the voice receiver?

Squelch 65, which is where I had it before. Sample rate 2.496.

set it to 96 see if it makes difference not sure if it will but worth a play.

Has it always been 65?

Yes, I've always had it around 65 to 67 depending on the day.

jland138, Thanks for suggesting upgrading the FW. I just upgraded mine and IT WORKS!!!! I just have to check and make sure that it is functioning 100 % but so far, so good....
