Coincidentally Alan BLUE63 58-0071 K35R 6 AMW MacDill AFB now showing at 2021 local level 35k.
Since you logged him a few minutes before me Alan guess they were Eastbound...excellent!

Hi everyone, happy New Year !!

These BLUE's are supporting the return of the 4FW Strike Eagles to Seymour next weekend.

Did anyone of you ever submit a FOIA request and get a negative response ?
Have some questions about how to appeal and how succesfull it may be ......

Happy New Year to Tin and the group.

I have a newbie (sorta) question so i appreciate the help since I'm not a very active milair scanner guy (at least not yet).

Here goes: I see references to such codes as "AE2FA5" and "AE2FA4" What are these and how are you getting them? Radar box or some such gear? These were not a part of the conversation a year ago or so when I was here last.

All the best!

Updates

Guys,

Got some updated info from real good sources regarding my military callsign list that I'd like to share with you.

RE callsign ORCA:

Please note that “ORCA” is a call sign used by the 70th Air Refueling Squadron, Travis AFB, CA, not the 79th ARS.
Thanks
JEFFREY G. PINTO, MSGT, USAF
60 OG/OSO
Current Operations

RE callsign HAWK:

I have been doing research on my squadrons callsign. You have our callsign which is HAWK listed as the 29th BS it is actually the 28th BS. Everything else appears to be correct B-1B Dyess AFB, Tx. Just a heads up the 9th has a different callsign.

Thanks

Lucky

Christopher Dyer, Capt, USAF

Assistant Safety, 28th Bomb Squadron

MOHAWKS

RE callsign DUCE:

I am in the 2d Air Refueling Squadron at McGuire Air Force Base. We fly KC-10s. The callsign DUCE is for 2ARS ... not the 76ARS or 78ARS (Reserve Units).

Hence Duce for the 2d Air Refueling Squadron and it is ONLY used when performing an off-station trainer or a local training sortie operated by our squadron.

Thanks ...

Thanks Mark. I have made several FOIA requests in the last few years,
some were succesfull, see for example the Vance AFB presets below.

The Luke AFB FOIA manager sent me my requested document, but had all
the frequencies deleted without any reason ........ was wondering if I could appeal or anything.

Regards,

René.

return this week.
Both are with the 22 ARW McConnell.
REACH 3116 C-17 reported off BWI at 2355z earlier.

2112 local BLUE 83 checks in with Boston ctr 124.525 FL39 direct Lakie.

I've heard "a/c 025" calling Patterson Ground several times this morning for radio checks. Trying to determine what it is - maybe the 445th AW got another C-5 loaned to them. If so, it would probably be (ex-)TN ANG C-5A 69-0025.

Currently assigned:
68-0215
68-0219
69-0003
69-0005
69-0013
69-0020 (at Warner Robins ALC until ???)
69-0025? (would be ex-164th AW...unconfirmed)
70-0447
70-0448 (at Warner Robins ALC until Dec. 2010)
70-0453 (ex-433rd AW)
70-0457
70-0461

Did it still have the usages for them marked in? I'm sure it would be possible fill it in if that was the case.

No, they just deleted some pages from the requested document, leaving all frequency info, presets and callsign details out of it.
Normally there is an index page listing all sections and their content, even that one was missing. Bummer.
