1520 EDT- Reach 600 & Ascot 6737?? trying to reach Griffin on 378.1 w/no joy. Reach 440 is on 141.55 trying to get Griffin to switch over to UHF.

6737 is right. C-17 ZZ175

BADLY43 unknown MC-12 passed by between 1110-1133 at a steady FL250.

Once again logged unknown AE27A9 as PAT143. Logged earlier in the week as PAT141.

Other unknowns for the week are AE0201, AE20CC, AE1F4D, AE06B6, AE173D, AE1C2F (possible helo), AE51CC, AE1718 (possible helo), AE1E6E, AE2935 and AE017A as BATTL 05.

Anybody familiar with the callsign BALTO. Logged Elmendorf C-17 99-0167 as BALTO99 yesterday.

Also logged today, VQ-BCE Jordanian Govt. It was RJA001 when it departed ADW on Wednesday. It appears to have landed at Dulles about 1930 last night and then departed at 1405 today as RJA750 for a short hop to ADW it appears.

Royal Malaysian Air Force 9M-NAA A319 was in the area for the nuke meeting this week. Departed Dulles Thursday, but then passed through the area again today about 1300 at FL360.

Abu Dhabi Amiri Flight A6-DFR Boeing 737 also passed back through the area.

Odd log today was TOPGUN 41 flight of 3 setting up flyby
at M+T stadium before 4pm local on Potomac 290.425,
after tot time of 1603 local they landed BWI with tower 257.800
Bet that was a sight to the locals at BWI.
No events as far as I could find at M+T.
NCAA Lacrosse championships come late May maybe.
Must been practice flyover.
Maybe spending night at BWI.

TROUT99 63-7980 is inbound to ADW. 119.85

N609TW Pilatus U-28 is in the area displaying ALLIED 1. Don't know the USAF tail for it, it's still using its civilian mode-S code.

Thanks to heads up from Chris in Colorado
RICAN-71 C-130E #64-0510 ANG/PR/156AW/198AS made stop
at KILG then down to Dover AFB at 2355z.
This tail is miscoded as (AD92D1) instead of correct
(AE12D1)

TOPGUN IDs

A photog out at BWI shot the TOPGUNs as F-18s 163761 and 163456 and F-16 900947.
All from the NSAWC at Fallon.

From the upper deck at Nationals park today, I saw 3 departures; a C-17 at 1351, a USN C-9 at 1451, and another C-17 at 1541. I was able to make out a light band on both C-17s, so I assume Charleston, but they could also be Elmendorfs, or maybe even Marchs. Also noted one of the Johns Hopkins based helos a little further afield than usual. Any SBSers get a hit on the mil stuff?

Mark,

Darn--missed 'em. Allergies were really acting up on Sat so spent the day inside---they were so bad I didn't even feel like listening to the radios. Even so I would've missed them since I don't normally listen to BWI---way too busy since I'm close enough to hear both side of VHF & UHF freqs.

Yes according to Alan they were for Army-Navy Lacrosse game.
Guess Navy wanted it bad but Army won 7-6.

I don't know about yesterday since my box got disconnected mid-morning. But C-40C 05-0730 has been SPAR14 from 3/29 through 4/15.

Prior to that, in February, C-9B 73-1682 was SPAR14. Lately, including yesterday, this one has been displaying AVLON73.

SAM7069 could've been C-20B 86-0206. It has been displaying S6173 since December. It left here this morning about 0645 local. Last altitude logged is consistent with it heading west.

Thanks for the info...didn't write down the time for the CT ANG, so no luck with determining that one, but the others are now in my logs.
