I've identified the user of mode-S 83AEFC that displays BA23M. It's PAT-809, altitudes heard with ATC are matching perfectly. It's currently inbound to Frederick MD.
1848- Identified as Army King Air on Frederick Unicom

1940- PAT-809 leaving KFDK. 126.1 > 125.05 heading 230.
1945- Cleared direct GVE.

Nice detective work, have logged that miscode here as well
before and database and everyone had as India airliner but obviously wrong.
Will add that to the alert list.

Also logged that RETRO91 here as well.
Flight of 3 F-15E's from Lakenheath into US for prob maintenence work.
Wasn't home to hear radios so not sure where they went but
wasn't around here.Must have went westbound.

Question

Guys,

Did any of you guys with the boxes catch a Sequoia 01 into or out of Leesburg VA on 7 Nov? According to Jordan out on the West Coast it should have come into Leesburg on 7 Nov. I heard him today on HF either on his way to or from Europe.

He could be F900 N960SF & he belongs to the Bechtel Corp in Calif.

Caught DECOY99 C5 (70-0462) inbound to Martinsburg (MRB) yesterday afternoon. The tower (124.3) advised several aircraft in the area that the runway would close after landing due to a gear issue with the heavy.

After being vectored for the ILS by Potomac Tracon on 126.1, followed by a nice landing, they rolled out to the end and awaited maintenance to tow them off the runway. Dan L was listening to the arrival as well and stated the runway was closed for at least 15 minutes.

Re: SQU1

Hi Ron,

No box of course, but SEQUOIA 1 to my knowledge is the static callsign for N960SF.

Best regards,

Tony

SQU1 landed here on 11/7 at 2020. It left on 11/9 at 1508. That plane gets around A LOT.

Ron,

Thanks for the heads up. Unfortunately, I was at work during that time. :-(

AF1 and S29000 are back earlier than planned. S29000 has ADW in sight at 7k ft. I haven't heard AF1 and the mode-S stuff is kind of iffy, may be the minor difference in mode-S codes that has it showing 82-8000 also and at very similar altitudes. I think AF1 has already landed.

1503- N751RB P-51 is inbound to KFDK. Also have the N821MG Extra 300 of Michael Goulian on mode-S.

Correct Marine One & Nighthawk inbound South Lawn currently, SAM 29000 on final KADW
