Ref DOC. Keep in mind also, like in Madison Co, (the Pendleton facilities (ISR,CIC,PNJ) are on the Pendleton site only), the new TGs may be on one site only. I don't know that I will hear the New Castle facility at all.

I have a question... LOL why the heck would TG 21662 82-VCDTF Countywide Drug Task Force be allowed on a tower over 73 miles from Evansville and 3 counties away from Vanderburgh LOL... not listening to them but seeing them on the Paxton tower in Sullivan County... BTW MILF you can change 21662 to E

I do like the Paxton tower... you can get D33 D35 and D53 traffic all on this tower for ISP

Just for info, Grant County (27) talk groups 10283, and 10284, are full time encrypted. These are the JEAN (joint effort against narcotics), talkgroups

I'm just south of Middletown so I monitor the New Castle site. I have been periodically checking for conversion to P25 with no results as of yet.

I came across a TG that I thought was unusual for Lake County. I was receiving TG 21368 that is listed in the DB as ISP SZ DES. I did not even have it programmed in the radio, it came as a wildcard hit. I went ahead and programmed it in, and set if for record just in case I pick up something again,

Good ole Grant County!

Was born in Marion, most of my family severed/retired from the Sheriffs Dept there.

Down in Texas now but we get back to Indiana a couple times each year.

Ref DOC radios: (Having said that),UT does show 'some' DOC radios logging on thru Anderson, but does not see the rejection. I had created a new TG "00000" labeled "Logged Out". These and other radio leaving the sys show as "Logged Out"

Unitrunker sees no peers on the Michigan City IDOC system. I also haven't seen any traffic other than the prison comms, so that doesn't sound unreasonable.

I notice the change of laporte sites and frequencies added in the db.
Did the fcc license change again or did they finally settle on what they are going to use?

That is as it stands right now, the latest 2 FCC Licenses for the simulcast. Identical sites, only difference is one is 700 one is 800. There may be more 700 as I have learned from experience that not ALL the freqs are on the SY... Site number is as is listed on the IPSC site map. Still watching for final licenses for Steuben, and Porter sites. The Steuben may just keep the current County License... But the mods for P25 have not popped on it yet, and its supposed to go live in a very short time.

An unit had his radio on that TG active and affiliated with that site. That is how it works when an TG is NOT site/zone locked. On an DTF TG, it could easily be an ISP unit, an DEA unit, VCSO, EPD.... Anyone that is set up on that DTF op.

Possibly an ISP DES unit that was transferred to another district and had not flipped his/her radio over to the NZ DES OPS TG, or maybe an supervisor etc.... Another case of the TG not being site/zone locked. Same thing happens with the ERT TGs. Most of the troopers just call them SWAT 1, 2, 3... You can hear any of the ops on any of them depending on who has his/her radio on which TG affiliated to the site your monitoring. I do miss ISP CPS using its own dispatch though.... Still kinda weird that if it is troop 99, the Units are NOT 99XXX... they are 79XXX.... When all the other ISP troops all have unit numbers according to their troops. 33132, 52213 etc....

Unless they're running at extremely low power, I can't detect anything on any of the Laporte County simulcast frequencies as of today. Obviously there's a good chance they haven't done anything with them yet but just FYI.

It's expected to go live within a few days.

I drove near the site areas and nothing different as of yet tonight. Wanatah site on the south end still rx as stand alone. Plenty of testing throughout the day, though.

Bump...

I thought their were still a few other unidentified talk-groups...

I found 20188 off the Paxton tower..appears to be a state park but I have yet to ID... Maybe Shackamack

Edit 1:
More than likely Greene-Sullivan State Forest... heard talk of cabins needing cleaned

Edit 2: looking at how the new talk-groups are broke down... I'm not sure who it is now!?! LOL :p

I have been hearing 20188 in NE IN too. Been trying to figure out who they are. They have been calling themselves STAR and talk about firewood sales. Think a state park, but don't know which one.

Does anyone have the latest Regional Mutual Aid Talkgroup lists assigned to each county? For example, Madison county last year was using "G". They are now using "I" MA. I think they use to use a letter assigned to three or four counties. RR shows 4 ID's to each letter A through O.

I believe this is the latest mutual aid layout here.
