Got CLEAN61 84-0192 KC-10 at FL360. Found a flight on fighters "21" with ZDC-Blackstone 235.625 not so sure they're related.
2118- Switched to ZDC-Franklin 290.425. Hard to hear though.

Pretty cool Ron!

Dover website showed pics of Heavy's getting out before snowstorm last week.
On High Res download you see C-5A 68-0219 in Texas 433AW colors.
My list had that as Wright Pat tail.Guess with Texas Lackland now.
Dover aircraft depart before storm

Mark

That makes sense, finally. The wings must have traded: the 433rd recieved 68-0219 and the 445th recieved 70-0453.

On that note, 69-0010 is still on the 445th ramp after arriving 2/3. 69-0025 had been there since early January, and went back to KMEM after a tailswap from the arriving aircraft (a/c 010). Still wearing the Memphis tailband when I saw it on Saturday.

The snow took a toll on Patterson over the past two days...only two aircraft, and both were delayed a full day - logs coming later.

Patterson 2/14-2/16:

LOBO 071 (C-9B, 16004x) arrived on 2/14 and RON.

In the morning on 2/15, NAVY JT 781 (C-9B, unid) arrived. When taxiing in, LOBO asked NAVY about icing and identified themselves as "29." NAVY called in for clearance first (to KNBC), followed by LOBO (to KPIE). NAVY taxied out and held on taxiway C (the only one open) for deicing, then back-taxied on 5L. Once in position, they reported that the inboard wing edges were icing and requested another deicing in place on 5L. LOBO said they would do the same after NAVY took off, and NAVY asked LOBO ("29") to change to 323.700. NAVY then called the tower asking if ground equipment could plow the runway while they were being deiced. After plowing the runway and deicing NAVY again, the ice was still building up too much for takeoff, so both taxied back to the ramp - this required some shuffling, since only one runway and one taxiway was open.

NAVY JT 781 departed the next morning (2/16), followed in the afternoon by LOBO 071. LOBO asked tower to pass on a thank you to TA and Base Ops for all their help.

I can't identify the "29" in regards to LOBO, or the frequency (323.700) used to communicate. Does anyone have an idea?

Re: NAVY and LOBO 323.700

Jared,

I have 323.700 listed as an MCAS Cherry Point MTS1 SAR freq., so perhaps other units (both USN and USMC) also use this freq. as an A/A common while TDY?

1741 local sounds like GRAFT 07 into Dover UHF freqs only.
Reports will be departing later for KNTU Oceana.
New callsign for me on that one.Fighter type possibly.
Think he did touch and go at Dover then back to KNTU.

Logged this PC-12 on box a few times in last Month.

Lots of CLEAN Tankers overnight headed for Bangor Maine.
Maybe some F-15's headed home to Lakenheath?
CLEAN 61 gave his eta to Bangor ip 0800z on Dover CP
at 0720z.I think the KC-135's just did topoffs and KC-10's
will probably take them across.
They got an early start for sure.

Re: RAVEN 1

Mark,

Probably "off at". I had him up with BayWatch 354.800 and NHK APP 305.200 heading in for a landing then return to the restricted areas at around 1930Z.

Travis,
Tin,
Mark,

Had a couple of birds active today--wondering if you had them in this area or did your SBS net log them?

11175.0 Offutt: 1949 USB w/Hoover 27 (TC-135W, Offutt AFB NE) w/request for pp to DSN 271-XXXX (Hoover Ops at Offutt AFB). Offutt requests QSY to 11159.0.

11159.0 Offutt: 1951 USB w/Mover 27 in pp. Offutt asks Hoover 27 for country code for phone number and Hoover 27 replies that it is phone number at Offutt AFB--the Offut operator has embarrassesd tone to reply. Hoover 27 advises Hoover Ops that they will be a little late for landing.

Also had 85-0005 C-5B from Dover in comms in the early 1300Z and mid 1800Z hours. Curios if he was actually flying or maybe just ground checking his HF comms.

HSC-26 MH-60 down near VA-WV line

From another list, looks like there is a Navy MH-60 out of HSC-26 down near the VA-WV line 30 nms. SW of LWB. Comms have been heard on guard freq 243.000 in the Roanoke area. Callsign was CHARGER 77. SAR ops ongoing.

Update: ANVIL 92 (C-130H 130th AS WV ANG) has been heard circling the crash site.
