Also, was talking to an A-10 pilot, apparently alot of their new Air to Air freqs are in the upper 200's..(like the 297.2 you guys found.)
Not really using any of the normal 140s and so on....I'll see if I can't get any more info on it.

Hi Brian,

Isn't that 297.200 the Martin State airport tower frequency ???

GOLD 92 was given phone# 410-918-6375 this morning, tried to call it and got a security desk operator ....
Is this the right number for their Command Post or maybe their operations department, anyone ?

Regards,

René.

PAT 148 (C-12, unid) just departed Patterson for KADW at about 0145Z.

Currently inbound, it's been displaying PAT0160 all day. I don't have a reg for that one. Mode-S is ADFEE0

2205- REACH-412T (displaying RCH270) C-5 69-0011 WV ANG climbing out of Martinsburg. 126.1>134.15 Heading towards Philly.

Ed,
John,

Looks like the T-birds will be up your way this summer:

August 21-22 Westfield International Airshow = Westfield (Barnes Air National Guard Base Open House), MA Westfield International Airshow Returns in 2010

The Blues also sked up your way August 28-29 Pease Air Show - Wings of Hope 2010 - Portsmouth, NH Pease Air Show | Wings of Hope | 2007

Yes! Isn't it great? Tbirds are also going to be at Quonset (KOQU) in North Kingstown, RI
on the 26-27 of June. Three shows within a month in New England!! Woo hoo! Sure hope
I can make at least one of them!!

I may also go to Andrews and Oceana like I do every year. Weather, Job, and finances permitting of coarse!!

0816 MAZDA 51 counts of as flight of 5 on 285.400
Hearing MAZDA's A/A 293.200 giving wx at Martin State as well.
Heard mention of 6th aircraft so could be flt of 6.

One of the A-10's just showed as (AE1951) callsign 800166.
Scramble has as 184th FS Arkansas.
They have that mean looking Hawg Jowls on the nose art.

Mark
I had A2A on 293.200 as well, could only ID MAZDA 47 with another talking to ZNY on 353.5.

What amazed me is that they reported FL190 and were obviously down along the coast ..... yet I could hear them fairly well. And since they were nice and slow, I could hear them for over 20 mins. Reported SIE MTN direct, but kept talking about going to Pease or Bangor [maybe ref to previous mission]. [Edit] OOOOOOoic, they were heading east originally, but went home?

Also had the GOLD briefly on ZBW Cape sector 128.750 then switch 290.300.

Mark.

1. Both CG 6562 and CG6543 have been flying around the area of Bay Bridge & Annapolis most of the morning--have heard them on 345.0 as well

2. Looks like real rainbow unit on way to Afghanistan---CA ANG C-130Js, AR ANG A-10Cs and 104th FS support personnel.

Have been sidelined wth bum knee since Christmas or else I would have driven out to MTN to see who/what was out there--a little late now

yeah, whoops...i actually looked quickly at Tin's post and thought that was the A2A. But I do know the A-10s are using higher freqs now....like 290s. I have to look when I get home, but some people have caught them on here already.
